The\ngap between scientifically generated knowledge and practice is\ngenerally considered a dilemma, and to reduce this gap, and to\nrespond to requirements for a more integrated care within health\nand social care sectors, networks are emerging as a solution. This\nstudy focuses nine research and development (R\u0026amp;D) networks set\nup to promote a professional approach to care and strengthen the\ncollaboration between health care sectors in a Swedish health care\nsetting. The research project was embedded in an action research\napproach intended to encourage network development by means\nof a dialogical process.
